Getting close to Presley is anything but easy Presley has been burned in the past and her walls are up high Will Jake be able to break down Presley s walls and show her how amazing real love can be Inked on Paper was a fun read for me I loved the idea of this story It pulled me in from the very first page I loved the chemistry between Jake and Presley I thought they shared a scorching connection and I couldn t get enough of the two of them together I was intrigued by Presley and wanted to know about her I thought her roommates were very entertaining and just couldn t help but laugh at their antics I was constantly shaking my head at them I really enjoyed being inside Jake s head It was really interesting getting a writers prospective on things and the whole writing process. Pretty much the personal journey that is taken while creating the next great thing It was pretty amazing to watch how the characters came to life though Jake while he was writing his story I loved how much the characters become so real for him I could totally see how an author would give everything over to their characters while they spoke to them Nicole really has done an amazing job writing this story the way she did As a reader I really felt like Jake was the actual author and what he was writing was the part that was fiction Jake and Presley became real people through the clear picture that was being painted I really loved the added bonus we got at the end of the book This is definitely not a book fans of Nicole s will want to pass up on 508 Loved the premise of this story The H and h find their muse in each other and we also get to read the story the H was working on throughout the book Loved that the h was fun.

Inked on paperjet When I was at only 30% of Inked On Paper I was completely absorbed into the interesting and unique story line that Edwards crafted A book within a book is arduous task because the author has to ensure that the readers don t misconstrue one group of characters for the other or lose interest in one aspect because too much time has been given to another part I never had an issue following both Jake and Presley s story and the fictitious love affair of Donovan and Kora and one of the main reasons is due to Jake subconsciously drawing on material from his and Presley s life both individually and as two people highly attracted to each other I ve always wondered what process fiction writers go through in order to deliver a worthwhile story one that will appeal to the masses as well as showcase the writer s ability to show instead of tell and create characters who readers can connect to and find likable enough to immerse themselves in that particular story compared to the thousands of others that are out there Nicole Edwards gives me that insight through Jake s struggle to write his next best seller and the external situations that aren t enabling him to write anything worth publishing in over a year.
