Demons from her past 2023 book L Leslie s amazing talent as a writer I haven t a doubt that what ever she writes will go above and beyond your expectations You can find this review and many others on the CommonBookSense blog English Beautifull beautiful book and story Paxton is delish This book speaks to people of struggle and over coming Must read English WOW Wow what a story Get some Kleenex Very sexy emotional story This story is about overcoming addiction finding love losing love Loved it English Don t let the demons win This book was very emotional and relatable for me Kingsley and Paxson both have demons from their past Together.

Demons from my pastime book The storyline is really good It had just enough conflict to make it interesting and the chemistry between Kingsley and Paxton was off the charts I would recommend this BUT it s not edited AT ALL From misspellings to having two different people talking in the same paragraph yeah that one was completely confusing at times it just really needs to be professionally edited If it wasn t such a captivating story I probably wouldn t have finished it the way it currently is but I can say that if it was edited I probably would have given it 4 5 stars instead of the 3 I m giving it. Demons from the past meaning Random Ramblings Didn t like how in the beginning the H was the one coming on to the h and then pushing her away immediately and then getting angry with the h I liked the idea of Evers Place Overall Feeling English Kingsley has plenty of demons that she is fighting She has hurt the ones she loves the most by her past drug addiction Paxton is a buttoned up man who is haunted by the death of his mother who died from a drug overdose and drowning in the bath tub Fate has brought these two people together But they have to hide their relationship because her father doesn t approve because he believes that she is a junkie who will never change even if she is trying to prove herself by being a successful event planner for her father s hotel chain The love story in this book is one that evolves slowly as it focuses on Kingsley fighting her demons while trying to show that she is a better person This book shows the reader the sordid side of drug abuse as well as the triumph of being clean and sober J. Demons from her past full book L Leslie does an amazing job of showing that there is hope after the fall the fall off the sobriety wagon and the fall into love Make sure to have a few tissues at the ready and be ready to cheer Kingsley and Paxton on as they help each other face down their demons from the past find forgiveness and they find that love can bring light to the darkness of addiction English I was given a copy of this book from the author in exchange for an honest review. Epub demons from my past book Kingsley has her demons but is trying to work through them She has a final night s work at the local club where she meets a gorgeous stranger At her mother s urging Kingsley will be joining the firm owned by her father who doesn t trust K due to her drug addiction The guy from the club Paxton turns out to be her father s right hand guy who has demons of his own and though they try to stay away from each other they just can t As an aside Paxton IMO is a bit of a jerk I liked Kingsley s character much better. Demons from my past book pdf Kingsley I liked her but wanted from her This story isn t a long one so it limits the amount of depth that can be achieved so character development is restricted She had a strong history and structure a recovering drug addict covered in tattoos so is judged cast off by her father and attempting to make peace From all this I expected a much fiery attitude whereas often she seemed to bite her tongue when I feel she should ve spoken out She allowed her father to stomp on all her efforts to prove herself and from that I suppose I admired her determination to not let him win by breaking her She also became enraptured by Paxton fairly soon just from a kiss so it sort of led to an insta love scenario of sorts Paxton Wasn t too much of a fan of him We only got snippets from his POV so limited time to understand his persona or mind He had demons of his own and I wish again the story was longer to allow for emotional or deeper investment of the reader to his past All of his secrets were revealed and packed away just as quickly that I personally didn t really feel sympathy or sadness for what he endured Also that hot and cold act although briefly justified I wouldn t have accepted the attitude actions as easily as Kingsley did and for me this took away from their dynamic Story I love the concept of this But for the amount of drama it had it needs to be longer to adapt the pacing to an appropriate level There are multiple story lines unfolding and at times some of them were just too squeezed to allow them decent development I would have liked insight into the drugs aspect of things seeing as this turned out to play a vital role in everything later on and been apart of Kingsley struggle to properly break free from her past Writing The standard of writing in this is good it all makes for easy reading as the story just unfolds naturally The only criticism is the pacing which already been discussed I liked that some chapters were told from Paxton s POV especially before the end few scenes to allow the reader some insight into his feelings and outlook on everything between them Mobi version does need formatting some speech lines from different characters on the same line chapters ending and starting on the one page blank pages inbetween etc Overall I think this has a lot of potential There is a unique spin on the story line and makes for a very exciting and mysterious read If it could be longer just to allow development and depth to the story and characters this could definitely be a 5 star read See of my reviews here English
