This is a very confused 2 starsI understood it but at the same time I am left a bit confused I finished it a few weeks ago so the memory of the book is a bit blurred but I remember having just finished it and just feeling confused I loved the premises of the book the idea of a thriller from a child s perspective sounded really interesting I guess I just didn t like the way it was executed and the use of paranormal didn t fit with what I had expected so I guess it took me by surprise I didn t like that the author used a dead child I feel like it would have been so much interesting to have a child alive and in the midst of the family s relationships seeing the deaths and the clues etc. Book Greffe mortelle adele I would also add to not expect a realistic family depicted realistically It ain t happening I would describe the genre this book belongs in as thriller de l absurde absurd thriller The violence instincts primitive everything instincts reasonning violence are all exaggerated beyong reality Which is a shame in my opinion because this idea and premise to me had potential I just didn t like the execution It is not my taste of books However if you re looking for paranormal and absurd in a thriller maybe it is for you Give it a try if you feel you might like it it s an extremenly quick read less than two hours so you won t feel betrayed if you don t like it Marc Agapit
