A senator is seduced and assassinated His journalist son Nick Crane follows the trail to a fatal Soviet agent Crane believes he s finally found his father s murderer and he s about to exposethe Black Widow Black Widow 6 I am currently mourning the end of the Mark Waid Christ Samnee run of Black Widow and so I need to consume everything Black Widow related to soothe the pain I purchased the first issue of Kiss or Kill at Green Brain Comics in Dearborn great comic book store highly recommended in their clearance section Now that I have read two distinct Black Widow series I can see that every writer approaches our favorite assassin differently In the Nathan Edmonson run Natasha is reflective trying to achieve redemption and yet still badass She s still willing to do what needs to be done but there is a twinge of regret running throughout the series Mark Waid and Chris Samnee s Natasha is action oriented and harsher somehow but she s also still seeking redemption She s still trying to protect people Duane Swierczynski s Natasha is interesting to me in several ways Yes she s highly sexualized for no apparent reason but she s also a badass She s trying to clear her name and take down an enemy from her past I d like to see what else happens in this arc with Natasha because I just can t get a read on her here Maybe that is the point of this depiction Black Widow 6
