Poles apart pink floyd meaning I especially loved the sprinkling of foreign words when they were visiting in foreign countries and the surprise ending English Cute but odd story of a penguin family out for a picnic and they end up at the South Pole where they meet a Polar Bear Then the penguin s and bear go round the world to find the perfect picnic spot I can see this as entertaining to little kids wondering where they might go next but a trip like this would take a long long long time And for one picnic it seems like a bit much I think I would have enjoyed the journey just as much if they had eaten the picnic at the South Pole and then gone on an adventure back home English I really enjoyed this book about the unlikely meeting and friendship of penguins and polar bears A little to long for storytime but would be great for lower elementary children English
