Epub don't back down reddit People who are from Ottawa and might be interested in the business side of things particularly regarding Kanata and the west end will enjoy this book However those who bought this for pure Sens talk might be a bit disappointed Paperback This book is two different texts in one One half talks about the creation of the Ottawa Senators while the other talks about business and real estate While there is some overlap and connections between the two topics the book spends too much time talking real estate and city planning The best chapters are those that either entirely focus on the hockey team or connect back to it That doesn t happen quite as often as it should though. Don't Back downhill mountain The author also tells large parts of his life story which at times can be very interesting but these sections don t really improve the book The book is also very repetitive bringing up the same points multiple times With some further editing the book could be great but unfortunately falls short of its potential Paperback A very thorough accounting of the founding of the Ottawa Senators It is not a perspective that is often available being that it is written by the founding owner There is plenty of information on the somewhat unique real estate situation in Ottawa which does nice the book a different angle However it is clear that it was self published as there are far too many instances where the trail of the tangent leads far away from the Senators At times it does seem like a lesson in real estate development is the driving force Well worth reading though Paperback
