I enjoyed this collection of stories from Bill Byrne Part short story part introspective assessment they beautifully capture the complicated dynamics in a father son relationship The vignettes have a Norman Rockwell ian feel to them to which every father can relate The format of relating true to life experiences some comical some stressful all touching is entertaining enough but when Bill compliments them with memories on his relationship with his own father the reader is treated to rare insight That Bill dares to close each chapter with a soul baring reflection is brave to say the least but if you are a father it s a must read Highly recommended 9781516972517
