Black canary villains This issue is terrible It s childish cliched and just an overall disappointment I was hoping the idea of a Battle of the Bands thing might be elevated above something from a 1970 s issue of Josie and the Pussycats but it descends into drivel Bo is an interesting antagonist but to give her bandmates powers and have Dinah fight them all individually mind you and during a song is just ridiculous I had hope for this comic and was enthused by it s original take but it just gets worse with each issue Even the forced drama of the ending isn t that intriguing sigh The saving grace is the artwork yeah this might have garnered NO stars otherwise Annie Wu turns this mess into something worth looking at She has an energy to her art that I enjoy and the additions of color really give the page texture and flow that helped me get through this issue. Black canary bird Total snot of a story Not really worth continuing Black Canary 6 Poor Ditto Black Canary 6 Annie Wu is back as an artist and boy am I glad I just love her art style so much Also it felt weird having her style on the covers but not on the issues It really made the change much noticeable I m confused as to what happened here but I suppose the next issue is going to clear that up Black Canary 6 Ese plot twist Black Canary 6
