Like most of the female characters could have been much dynamic and responsible for driving the story line rather than preparing lunches and worrying about the menfolk The story overall reads a little rustic when it comes to the female roles I had a hard time with most of the other characters I found Scott increasingly arrogant and almost deserving of his fate His father Ace was a little too slimy and cocky for my liking too Much could have been made of Hank the warden and his back story too But the characters are believable I just found myself not really caring if they lived or died as it was hard to like most of them The story is well paced.

Unknown borderfall 5 stars story If not for the way it ended I would ve given it a solid 4 stars Gggrrrrrrrr Unknown Border Overall an enjoyable scary and engaging book from beginning to end Unknown Border Unknown Border is about an intrepid outdoors man and tour guide who dreams of an expedition into the restricted area beyond the small mountain community of Redwood Washington When his requests are blocked at every turn he becomes determined than ever to venture into the unexplored wilderness on the promise of untouched pristine fishing and hunting grounds When a hardened warden clashes with him and seems to question his skills and ability to handle what the wild can throw at him he uses his father s contacts to gain the necessary permits and authorisation They say pride comes before a fall and this turns out to literally be the case when he discovers the hunting grounds are indeed perfect but they are not his to claim Something monstrous has already staked out its territory and is willing to kill to defend it. Unknown borderaround vba I was immediately drawn to Beth who although isn t the main character in my opinion is the most likeable and human However she and the reader is pulled into the narrative quickly The rampage of the creature is thrilling and than enough to keep you engaged Once we find ourselves with Scott in the restricted area things really take off and you ll find yourself finishing most chapters on a cliffhanger that will tempt you to read on just that little bit . Unknown borderbrook One of my gripes however were the numerous missed opportunities loose ends and lack of details that peppered the book A childhood encounter recalled by an elderly game warden is never concluded nor followed up on for instance A main character s possible demise is also never really concluded and the reader is left assuming rather than knowing The creature s motivation is rather flimsily dealt with and concluded in a few sentences at the end of the book And in the vast beautiful wilderness bursting with animal and plant life we rarely are given any descriptions species names or other details A great deal of the decisions and actions of the supposed outdoors man seem rather reckless and made me question his skills and ability too. Book Unknown borderline personality Overall the Kindle edition was good value and Unknown Border made for an entertaining read but for me it didn t deliver on the full potential of the setting the characters or even the creature itself Unknown Border Wow This was a great thriller I loved the storyline the mystery the intrigue the anticipation I couldn t put this book down I was excited to see what was going to happen the entire book The narration was amazing Roberto Scarlato absolutely nailed each character old young male or female his ability to tell a story is brilliant I recommend this book Sisters Spotlight Unknown Border
