Taylor Ryan is the pen name under which I publish my M M fiction as I started out writing young adult fiction and have recently migrated genres I have been writing M M fiction since June 2014 and Tears of the Neko was my first published work in the M M genre. Le serpent montreal When Bryan finally finds the man he wants to be with forever he thinks his life will be perfect But it s taken time to convince not only Wyatt that he s sincere but his own mother as well Between Wyatt s anxiety to trust again after a brutal breakup with an ex the ex still trying to wreck havoc in Wyatt s life and Bryan s own mother s doubts Bryan is over stressed So when Wyatt disappears days after their engagement he s left devastated and confused This book contains m m relationships as well as abuse and violence Please do not read if any of this bothers you Lie of the SerpentI really enjoyed this one There was a bit of a mystery mixed in with a lot of angst and hurt comfort I really felt like I could feel Wyatt s pain as he suffered at the hands of his kidnapper And Bryan s emotional turmoil at Wyatt s disappearance feels so real There isn t a lot of sex in this book as it is plot based not just a series of sex scenes strewn together by a haphazard plot which is what I prefer in the books I read Lie of the Serpent It s a nice enough story with soms angst and a lot of hurt comfort and of course a HEA The emotions felt very real and believable There is some mystery although I found it a bit too predictable and the identity of the perpetrator is confirmed early on I ve read every book by the author under this penname and liked her other books just a bit I wish she would publish again under this penname Lie of the Serpent I read this book before it was published and it was excellent Sometimes I crave a gritty dark abusive read that makes me cry This delivered 100% Just as dark as the Neko duo and Waves A great read from an amazing indie author The mother is a real monster but the base of her personality homophobic and smothering love is devastatingly believable That her son doesn t see it for so long as his lover languishes in her basement is just a stab to the heart Made me cry so much Lie of the Serpent
