Spare Change kindle cloud Some of it had to do with a bit of over description in some scenes here and there The characters were definitely NOT flat They were interesting but I wish I could have learned about them There were a few scenes where I didn t quite understand Alice s motivations for doing what she did It would ve made sense if there was a quick glance into her past that would a explain a few things and where she came from Overall there could have been some character development for both Alice and Rose mostly Alice By the end of the book I felt like the only things I knew about Alice were 1 She shrunk and she s scared 2 She likes the outdoors. Spare change book The story itself was well paced yet seemed too short and ended abruptly I loved the concept of Alice shrinking and slowly forming a relationship with Rose as she tries to figure out how to fix her circumstances and I kept reading the next chapter to find out what happens next but then it just ends with no real conclusion I m guessing it might be a set up for a sequel which I hope there will be when we find out how Alice shrunk in the first place and if she ll get back to her normal size When I reached the end I felt like I had become so invested in the story but had very little pay off There s so much hinted going on in this story I hope it continues. Book Spare change healthcare It s a very quick read which isn t a bad thing since it was nice to have something lighter to get through It s also well paced keeping the action moving without lingering in a particular situation too long. Spare change lyrics Alice was a decent protagonist but the book doesn t really explore her past much It focuses a lot on her current situation and how she s coping with it but her background is vague and it would ve been nice to get to know her beyond her situation We get a few answers but they re not very specific or deep We get to know Rose as a character and while I liked Rose a lot it would ve been nice to get to know Alice a bit . Book Spare changed Speaking of I liked the Alice In Wonderland naming motif that was going on that was a fun little nod to what was clearly an inspiration for the story There aren t very many answers to be found It leaves off with a lot of questions left to be answered and I do hope it gets a sequel As the first part of a story it s pretty good if it doesn t get continued then I couldn t recommend checking it out because nothing is explained very well. Spare change fundraiser There was also one bit that didn t really fit the rest of the story for me and I think hurt it a bit The prologue felt totally unnecessary The shift to Chapter 1 was such a stark contrast that it felt like the prologue belonged to a different story Starting right off from when Alice wakes up shrunk would ve been a much better way to start because it left me feeling confused than anything else Starting with Alex coming to the realization of the situation she s in would ve been better because then at least the reader could be confused with her rather than wondering what happened in the pages between the prologue and the epilogue. Spare change book A particular revelation for a cause is revealed towards the end but I feel as though should ve been done with that particular character before doing so because I was never surprised at the revelation and didn t feel like it was a very rewarding one It s hard to judge too much I d need to read a sequel to know for sure. Spare change book I liked that Alice was resourceful and focused on how to survive rather than spend her time moping around it made for a interesting character And some of the situations she finds herself in and the solutions she comes up with are pretty good and show how adaptive she can be especially in such a bizarre situation That being said. Book Spare changed I don t really understand why she was so against being watched over by Rose in her apartment I guess she has some super big trust issues but it s never explained and it doesn t make much sense She seemed fine with just talking with Rose and she had to know that staying in the laundry room with cats on patrol would be a very stupid idea Even if Rose was planning to betray her her odds of finding a solution would be a hundred times better by escaping the laundry room Given her lack of clean water and food she didn t have a whole lot of options and given that Rose didn t immediately try to grab her and was respectful of her space was a good indication she could be trusted With no explanation of why Alice is so mistrusting it s hard to understand why she would be so totally paranoid about accepting help that she desperately needed. EPub Spare change That being said I liked the friendship budding relationship between the two leads I liked the alternating perspectives as well but there wasn t that much of a distinctive difference between the narratives making them sound very similar regardless of who s chapter it was A good first start one I hope is continued but it could use some proofreading there were multiple editing formatting spelling errors I also hope that if a sequel ending is released that it provides us with some decent answers Leaving everything up in the air seems like a disservice for a creative take on a shrinking plot Paperback Not bad for a debut self published book. Book Spare changed Though the premise of a person waking up shrunk isn t new the character development between tiny Alice and giant to her Rose was handled extremely well Alice s trust in Rose grew at just the right pace Also the way that Alice and then Alice and Rose dealt with Alice s unique condition was well described. Spare change in spanish However after getting invested in the story and characters I was disappointed that it ended where it did with so much open I have no problem with the story being part of a series but if so each part needs some resolution I m left with too many questions. Spare change lyrics After the first few chapters the chapters alternate between focusing on Alice and Rose This is a good idea for this story that could have worked a little better if they were first person narrated Because it s third person every time one of the main characters was referred to as the woman I had to stop to think which of the two women was meant.
