The dark prince book summary J McPhee s Waycaller is the best fantasy fiction I ve read for years The plot draws you in straight away I won t spoil it by talking about it here but it s action packed and heart warming Not since I finished the Harry Potter series have I enjoyed a book so much Set in a world like Middle Earth the characters are terrific The hero Jack and his little sister Harriett are both believable and likable Harriett is my favorite She s a little bit Hermione Granger and a little bit Anne from Green Gables Jack is good looking and cool and a bit out of his depth He struggles to accept who he really is and to deal with his strong feelings for Anarra an elvish girl he meets along the way who wields a sword as well as any man Keep a look out for Miss Butters a halfling whose antics are laugh out loud Waycaller is satisfying and absorbing and lots of fun A wonderful book I recommend it to anyone who loves character driven fantasy The Dark Prince Waycaller 3 With the Waycaller series D.
