And the author I struck out by believing in all three when none panned out I chose this book because I was interested in the murders that took place and thought this would be a mysterious crime thriller with suspense This so called killing field had an anticlimactic ending It was disappointing the way it all unfolded. Rotten fruit icon Emery s immaturity shined through each time she ran away when Ford hurt her feelings Emery wasn t ready to step foot in the big wide world I didn t like any of the characters I certainly didn t connect with any of them Rotten Fruit

Loved this book Ford and Emery are beautiful souls Just look out for the bad guys Rotten Fruit A VERY INTERESTING STORYLOVED IT TIL THE END Rotten Fruit It s not a mystery Just run of the mill YA romance where everybody has a sad past It took forever to finish Rotten Fruit I thought this was supposed to be a mystery novel and it turned out to be a young adolescent love story Not what I was in the mood for and not a developed enough plot at all Three stars because it was an easy read Rotten Fruit Great This author has a way with words and she didn t disappoint I loved the book I ve been waiting for a long while for a new book I finished it in less than a day My only complaints are that it wasn t long enough in a good way and that we didn t get a glimpse into their future I ll be over here just waiting for the next one Rotten Fruit Ahhh another gripping novel by Teresa Mummert How I ve missed reading her books This books has all the drama and twists and turns you d expect from her stories You ll fall in love with the characters and the storyline and keep turning the pages because you just can t get enough Loved every single minute of this 5 star read Rotten Fruit Emery and Ford story is told from dual POV When Ford moves to the town where Emery lives then the intrigue begins This book has mature topics even though the characters are teenagers There is drama and enough mystery in the story that will keep you captivated The loved the characters I am looking forward for the next book by Teresa Mummert Rotten Fruit Wow such a beautifully written story Filled with love and angst with a twist and turn Once I started I couldn t put it down until I had finished the book Rotten Fruit SOMETHING IN THE WATER Is a New Adult stand alone novel by Teresa Mummert In this we meet Emery and Ford Spoken in Dual POV s Going into this I expected to land in the killing field itself which between you and I I was secretly looking forward too But funnily enough that doesn t make an appearance until you near the end And that s when the synopsis starts to make sense in a roundabout way So I was slightly confused up to that point Though I still enjoyed this intricate tale this author weaved You could say Emery s life changed that day her and her momma arrived into that sleepy town of DeRidder Louisiana April 3rd 2011 aged 9 Meeting her momma s fiance for the very first time Sheriff Sutton who pledged that his house resided on a plantation That small sleepy town harboured a lot of deep buried secrets Then it jumps to 2018 A newcomer has arrived in town Seventeen year old Ford he s coming to stay with an Uncle he s not had anything to do with He d not seen him since he was a small boy Emery noticed him right away He starred in her very own personal reality show right outside her bedroom window For months it was just catching glimpses of him He d also starred in every romance novel she d ever read As the start of highschool draws closer Ford s Uncle begs Ford to take the neighbours girl into town to gather school supplies it s also the day that changed Ford and Emery s life forever Emery also vowed that with high school starting she was going to come out of her shell and live life Emery came across much younger than her seventeen years I know she d closed herself off and lived the life similar to a recluse watching the world go round from her bedroom Ford came across like your typical hot head with a chip on his shoulder fight first ask questions later But together these two kind of made sense She calmed him down and he brought her out of her shell Rotten Fruit Wild bad boy moves in next door to the innocent sheltered girl Emery lived with her nose in a book and tail between her legs She followed rules while Ford broke them They were polar opposites yet they spent one wild night together that changed both their lives. Rotten fruit picture Overall It didn t start off great In fact it really never took off I m still processing this story concept For one all these characters had issues which overcrowded the story Emery s issues were hard to pinpoint and even harder to accept once the secret was out She had this hard shell exterior which hid the depth of emotional damage this secret held over her making it difficult to accept her behavior I m so disappointed in myself for one clicking this book based on the cover the description White Trash Trilogy which landed her a three book publishing deal with Simon Schuster She is also the author of the wildly popular Honor Series which chronicles the taboo romance between a student and her college professor.
